    Even if we talked in comm already, just for reference here it is:

    travel time (0 to range) = rng / spd (from gamedata)
    speed in user friendly format (i.e. rng/5 units as seen from player side) = spd / 5 units/s

    bonuses:
    * +X% projectile speed bonus gives: speed * (1+X/100), travel time / (1 + X/100)
    * +Y% range bonus gives: travel time * (1 + Y/100)

    If I'm not mistaken .

    vertical speed, aka vspd is mostly a don't care, it defines only how high the arc will be ( more negative value means higher arc).

    If opponent is moving toward/away from a "following" weapon, e.g. standard missile, range will change, and so should travel time too (not tested yet, and not easy to do anyway ).


    tests done:
    • Assault Missile D53-R + Strike System 3:
      • rng = 370 + range bonus = +25% ==> effective rng = 462.5
      • spd = 90
      • ==> theoritical travel time = effective rng / spd = 5.14 s
      • measured travel time ( wall clock precision ) ~ 5s

    • Shockwave Mortar D71-Q + combustion system:
      • rng = 425
      • spd = 45 + projectile speed bonus = +30% ==> effective spd = 58.5
      • ==> theoritical travel time = rng /effective spd = 7.26 s
      • measured travel time ( wall clock precision ) ~ 8s

    • Shockwave Mortar D71-Q:
      • rng = 425
      • spd = 45
      • ==> theoritical travel time = rng / spd = 9.44 s
      • measured travel time ( high precision + my reaction time ) ~ 9.40 s

    • Peacemaker Mortar 1:
      • rng = 435
      • spd = 40
      • ==> theoritical travel time = rng / spd = 10.88 s
      • measured travel time ( high precision + my reaction time ) ~ 11.05 s


    Don't ask for the peacemaker 1, it's a really old ship .

    All weapons are ship mounted user weapons, and secondary weapons are missing (AFAICT only trident is concerned).
    Names for researched weapons may not include the level.
