    Not sure I agree.

    Item: Stonefish - NPC - B Tier (8009)
    Penetrative Defense : : from (60% to 40%)
    Explosive Defense bonus : : from (60% to 40%)
    Ballistic Defense Bonus : : from (60% to 40%)
    Radioactive Defence Bonus : : from (60% to 40%)
    Concussive Defense bonus : : from (40% to 30%)
    Submerged Defense : : from ( to 50%)
    Some of them go down there and they are on top of the water a bit, but once they submerge, now they have an extra 50% defense they didn't have before.

    So 60% to 40%, once submerged, 50% of 40% is 20%, so right back at 60%.

    If you are killing them on top of the water, then yes this is a good thing. If you were hitting them while submerged (say with zombie subs) it is a wash.

    Can it be that kix change em so they now works same way as reapers r10? They now can be dmg from normal weapons but get 95% resist? Doomchicken said something about em looking in to that. I dont know what data that show the reapers as a semisub but it dont get 95% resist against missiles that can hit underwater so they work different then the shitfishes we tried to kill in the raid.

    Someone posted in BP Professor's blog that he was able to earn 30 mil with minimum coining using subs. Looks like Kix fixed that. I have a Monarch with no module sitting in my dock, waiting for the right time to put a Wake Mod on it. I think I'll put that Sub Cav on it now.

    All non Reaper subs come with 100% submerged defence anyway. That was really confusing when the Reaper came out and everyone wondered what the whole submerged defence stat meant. To me this looks like they've added the submerge defence stat, like the Reaper, it might mean that now any surface weapon deals damage to the subs, for which they receive 50% damage reduction. Standard methods of killing subs (torps, missiles with retargeting etc) should be unaffected. That's how I see it anyway, might be wrong.

    I say that because remember how they had to add 100% submerged defence onto the BP of all the other subs after this came to light? No one had any idea what it meant, cos it was never listed on any other sub BP. I don't know, to me it just makes it look like they've made them like the reaper, all weapons hurt them but the standard surface weapons will have defence against them.

    Apologies for labouring on about this, but I just saw a post from Doom on forums that talked about possibly changing the way surface weapons affect the scourge ships, which plays into the theory that they will change them to low-submerge ships like Reapers, and all surface weapons will do some damage to them.
