I just opened the Config.ini and noticed somthing interesting at the bottom.

[LOGIN]
area =
account = ******* (masked to stop crackers haha)
loginmode = 0
saveaccount = 1
[sound]
sfxvol = 0
musicvol = -8836

Well i edited loginmode to 1 but when you start the game, the file gets over written haha we expect that tho right?

Area is blank, probably means training ground as i havent left there yet, someone else check it with their area, and maybe we can conpile a list of area id's

My goal is to stop it from overwritting the ini, and basically starting the game in any map you wish, could be a neat way to travel between maps very fast.

Id also like to know what the loginmode does.

Thoughts anyone?

EDIT: I just noticed a file, update.conf Tongue

To stop it from overwriting the ini, "right click and go to properties and select "read only". This will stop that.
Also i changed my loginmode  to 4 lol. Nothing happened. It logged in normally.

Set to read only flag

And yes, just start putting in random map ID's
see what that gets us
